See just some of the ways that we’re supporting a culture that promotes diversity and encourages wellbeing…
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Our workforce reflects the diverse and multi-cultural communities we serve. We want our colleagues to have pride in who they are and where they work, and strive to ensure everyone is seen and heard.
All colleagues receive training on discrimination and unconscious bias, and we encourage the promotion of events and awareness campaigns that celebrate different cultures and communities such as Pride where we recognise those colleagues and customers from the LGBTQIA+ community.
Our Women in Leadership programme is designed to enable greater diversity in our senior teams, and we’ve partnered with AccessAble to both provide Accessibility Guides to our buildings and services and aid understanding of disabilities – including those hidden – for our colleagues.
Wellbeing
Creating the right culture where our people feel able to discuss any issues and know where to go for support is vital.
In 2021, we partnered with leading mental health charity Mind to raise both vital funds to support their work as well as awareness to our colleagues of the importance of having a healthy mind. Our colleagues have access to an Employee Assistance Programme which, alongside providing confidential support, provides tools to manage health, mental wellness and financial wellbeing via webinars and resources. Mental Health First Aiders across our network are there to spot the signs of poor mental health and offer support as well as mental health awareness training rolled out to all colleagues.
Our Leaders
Many of our leadership team have worked their way up the career ladder with us; we pride ourselves on the fact that we always seek to develop and promote the talent from within our business by creating a culture where high achievers can flourish. Here you can find out more about our leadership team.
