Connells Group’s Land division consistently strong in 2017
Outstanding growth for Land operation
Land and investment deals achieved by Connells Group in 2017 will add a further 2,750 units to its new homes pipeline. The Group’s dedicated Land division reports exceptional results following further growth in land, professional and investment income last year – up 20% on the previous year, increased instructions for both corporate clients and local authorities and a new homes pipeline which currently stands 31% ahead of the start of 2017.
Connells Group’s Land division was instrumental in many significant land sales and acquisitions throughout the country in 2017, including a diverse number of deals involving private and affordable housing. Highlights include major land deals secured for Barratts, Inland Homes and St Congar in Aylesbury, Crest Nicholson in Redhill, Cala in Great Bentley, Mears Group in Clifton and a significant PRS investment deal in Birmingham:

The division’s services range from land disposal and acquisition, appraisals and valuations through to providing valuable consultancy advice from its team of 40 dedicated Land operators. The business is supported by an onward sales proposition via Connells Group’s network of nearly 600 estate agency branches which, in 2017, sold 9,000 new homes.
“We have doubled the size of our operation over the last few years in response to growing demand for development opportunities from house builders, and we will continue to strengthen the division by adding strategic appointments throughout the year in a bid to remain the leading land agents in the UK,” continues Roger.
