Senior appointments signal investment into Connells Group’s Land & New Homes business

Connells Group announces three significant promotions to strengthen its land and new homes senior management team.

Roger Barrett has been promoted to Connells Group Land & New Homes Managing Director, taking overall responsibility for both land and new homes across the entire Connells Group and leading a team of nearly 100 dedicated land and new homes experts, supported by a network of nearly 600 estate agency branches. Iain Berry and Jason Howes have been promoted to the newly created roles of Land & New Homes Managing Director for Connells Group’s largest estate agency businesses. Iain is appointed to the role for Connells Residential and Jason for Sequence UK.

The appointments bring with them a wealth of experience. Roger, Iain and Jason have over 85 years’ combined experience in the Group and extensive contacts within the housebuilding industry. Their new roles mark the start of a programme of investment into this area of the business, ensuring Connells Group retains its position as the first choice for the housebuilding industry.

Commenting on the appointments, David Plumtree, Connells Group Estate Agency Chief Executive, said: “As well as recognising the talent within our company, these well-deserved promotions support the Group’s long term strategy to not only consolidate its position as the leading land and new homes estate agency operation, but to further grow our share of the market. We have the ability, means and desire to make further investments in people, technology and marketing to enable us to deliver on our ambition, to strengthen our relations with the development industry and further promote our extensive services in this sector.”

Connells Group is regarded as having the best land and new homes operation within the industry, selling almost 18,000 new homes over the past two years and prides itself on delivering a comprehensive service to meet and exceed the needs of landowners, builders and developers.
