Connells Group hosts first virtual ‘Market Insights’ event
Connells Group hosted its first virtual live event on Tuesday 13th October 2020. The ‘Market Insight’ event drew together a virtual audience of over 200 property executives, from lenders and housebuilders nationwide, to hear the Group’s view and experience of the UK housing market from across all areas of its business.
The event replaced the Group’s biannual GMR event, typically held at Grocer’s Hall in London, but presented the opportunity to provide an early update on the market to key clients in advance of the Q3 Group Market Report being made available shortly.
Presentations included opening remarks on the general market from CEO David Livesey, an overview of the residential property market from Group Estate Agency Chief Executive David Plumtree, a Land & New Build summary from Chairman Stephen Shipperley and a Mortgage Services update from Group Mortgage Services Director Adrian Scott. Other senior executives from across the Group joined a lively Q&A panel, answering questions from across the spectrum of the business and seeking views on the market for 2021, which concluded the event.
