The New Homes Group appoints Group Managing Director for New Build Mortgage Services

The New Homes Group has announced a significant appointment with the promotion of Terry Higgins to Group Managing Director for New Build Mortgage Services.

Terry has been with The New Homes Group for over 16 years and originally joined as a Mortgage Adviser before becoming a Regional Sales Manager covering the North of England and Scotland. He was very quickly promoted to New Build Sales Director before assuming his latest role of Director of Mortgage Services in 2015 where he continues to oversee key housebuilder client accounts alongside his group responsibilities which include heading up lender relationships.  Terry is currently Managing Director for both New Homes Mortgage Helpline and New Homes Mortgage Scotland.

Terry will now be responsible to direct and support the company’s new build mortgage operations and to give strategic guidance and direction to the main board to ensure each new build mortgage brand achieves its mission and objectives whilst delivering optimum customer service levels to our housebuilder clients and their customers.

Terry has a wealth of knowledge and experience within the New Build mortgage and new homes market as well as long established relationships with lenders.

Nic Spaull, Chief Executive for The New Homes Group, commented:

“This ultimately will put us in a very strong and enviable position to take advantage of every possible opportunity, helping us to expand and grow all mortgage businesses as part of our strategic plans.   Whilst we are still experiencing challenges with Covid-19 I am very excited Terry’s role will enable us to continue to look at new initiatives to work smarter with our customers.  I wish Terry every success with his new appointment and he will provide a crucial role to help us to continue with our expansion plans as the UK’s leading new homes mortgage specialist”.
